Service Description

This full-day workshop will combine two deliciously creative arts; babka making, and pottery. Jumping between the babka kitchen and the pottery studio, you will knead, wedge, plait, build and decorate until both your creations are made. But you'll only get to eat one of them! You'll start in the kitchen with Pasha at Small Batch Babka (https://www.smallbatchbabka.co.uk/)- learning how to make babka buns. Then, once your dough is prepped, you'll head over to Neighbourhood to create your mini clay babka which will act as a knob for your babka box lid. After a short break for lunch, you'll shape your edible buns back in the kitchen and prep them for the oven, before heading to the pottery studio again to create the box your mini babka will sit on. We'll end the day with some decoration and glazing, so your real babka buns will be ready to enjoy while your clay creations start their drying process. A delicious, creative and satisfying day of fun! A FEW NOTES: - This workshop is suitable for 14+, and suitable for total beginners in both crafts - All materials are provided - Clay and flour both wash out of clothes very easily, but there will be aprons provided at both spaces! - The babka buns you create to eat will be non-vegan
