KIDS POTTERY: Christmas trees (Ages 5 - 8)

Service Description

Come and get festive with clay and make your very own Christmas tree! We’ll show you how to build a Christmas tree from clay, then you can decorate it however you like. Add baubles, stars, patterns, textures, presents, wonky branches or anything else you can think of - the more festive the better! This class is for kids aged 5–8. £18 per child / £16 per participating adult. Parents and carers are welcome to join in, but you don’t have to make anything yourself. If you fancy making a tree alongside your child, just book yourself a grown-up place too. Chairs are limited, so booking lets us know to save you a seat and get enough clay and materials ready for everyone. As this class is for younger kids, we ask that a parent or carer stays for the session. You’re welcome to help your child with their creation, or book a grown-up place and get stuck into the clay yourself! Everything you need is included in the price, including clay, materials, glazing and firing. We’ll dry, glaze and fire your Christmas trees after the class, ready to collect from the studio around a month later. Pottery can get a little messy, so bring a child-sized apron if you have one. We’ll have some spares at the studio too - and luckily clay washes out of clothes pretty easily! No pottery experience needed. Just come ready to get creative (and probably a little muddy).
