KIDS POTTERY: Wheel Throwing

Service Description

Come get messy and learn to throw on the wheel in this hour-long session! After a short tutorial, your child will spend the session playing on the wheel and creating as many things as they'd like. At the end of the session, they'll choose their favourite pot to have glazed and fired. Finished creations will be ready to collect from the studio four weeks later, so if you periodically book onto the Sunday kids classes then feel free to pick the pieces up when you come back the following month! WHAT TO WEAR Pottery can get a little messy, so please bring a child-sized apron if you have one. We have some spares at the studio if not - and luckily, clay washes out of clothes pretty easily. No previous pottery experience is needed. Just come ready to get creative (and probably a little muddy). All clay, materials, glazing and firing are included in the price.
