Kids Pottery Club: Ages 5–8

Service Description

Every other Sunday · 1:30–3pm Come get messy, play with clay and make some very cool stuff! Run by Libby Hood, our fortnightly Kids Pottery Club is a relaxed and playful introduction to pottery. Each session has a different project or theme, using simple handbuilding techniques like pinching, coiling, slab building, sculpting and decorating. We’ll show everyone how to make the project step-by-step, but there’s plenty of room for kids to use their imaginations and make something completely their own. No pottery experience needed! Grown-ups are welcome to get involved too, with a separate grown-up project to work on alongside the kids. If you’d like to join in, please add a £10 grown-up place to your booking so we can prepare a seat and materials for you. £18 for the first child · £12 for additional children · £10 for participating grown-ups All materials, glazing and firing are included. Finished creations will be ready to collect from the studio one month after the session. We recommend that children under 10 have adult supervision, but if you’re comfortable leaving your child with us, you’re welcome to drop them off and come back at the end. Sessions are run by our enhanced DBS-checked teacher.
