Kids Pottery Club: Ages 9-15

Service Description

Every other Sunday · 4–5:30pm A fortnightly pottery session for kids and teens who want to get creative, learn new skills and make some very cool stuff from clay. Run by Libby Hood, sessions alternate between handbuilding and wheel throwing, giving young potters the chance to explore different ways of working with clay. Each session has a different project or theme, with plenty of freedom to experiment, develop their own ideas and make it their own. Everything will be demonstrated step-by-step, so complete beginners are very welcome — as are kids who already have some pottery experience. Grown-ups are welcome to join in too! If you fancy getting your hands muddy alongside them, add a £10 grown-up place to your booking so we can prepare a seat and materials for you. £18 for the first child · £12 for additional children · £10 for participating grown-ups All materials, glazing and firing are included. Finished creations will be ready to collect from the studio one month after the session. Parents and carers don’t need to stay, so you’re welcome to drop your child off and come back at the end. Sessions are run by our enhanced DBS-checked teacher.
